Broiled Maryland Crabcakes with Creamy Herb Sauce

Crabcakes
  1. Beat egg, mayonnaise, mustard, flour, seafood seasoning, salt and pepper until well blended.
  2. Stir in crabmeat, parsley, shallots and garlic until crab is coated with mayonnaise mixture.
  3. Preheat toaster oven on broil.
  4. Place 1/4 cup crab mixture on broiler pan; lightly press down. Repeat with remaining mixture. (these crabcakes are delicate and don’t have much filler)
  5. Broil crabcakes 8 minutes, turning once.
  6. Serve with Creamy Herb Sauce.
Sauce
  1. Place mayonnaise, sour cream, lemon juice, chives, dill, parsley, garlic, salt and pepper in blender jar.
  2. Cover and blend until mixture is creamy.
  3. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
