Football is back and we couldn’t be happier. Whether you are gathering around the TV to watch your favourite CFL or NFL team (or both), no gameday is complete without the right grub. The slow cooker is our best friend on game days. You set it and forget it, then get busy preparing other snacks, decking the house out in your team’s colours, and maybe sending a few trash-talk texts – all while the food cooks.
Slow cooker pulled pork is one of the easiest, crowd pleasing recipes around. As one of our most popular slow cooker recipes, this North Carolina Barbecue is sure to be a hit.
Along with the barbecue sauce, try adding a delicious creamy coleslaw to go with it. Pile in all on a crusty fresh bun for the perfect game day sandwich.
